Dr. Kavisha Jayasundara is a highly accomplished leader who is committed to reducing healthcare disparities. As one of the first hires at Moderna Canada, Kavisha played a key role in ensuring Canadians had access to life-saving vaccines during the pandemic. Recently promoted to Senior Director, Global Market Access and Pricing for Rare Diseases at Moderna, Kavisha leads efforts to make groundbreaking mRNA therapies accessible to rare disease patients worldwide.

Beyond her professional achievements, Kavisha, who holds a PhD in Health Economics and a Master of Biotechnology, is an advocate for women in STEM. She mentors students and early-career professionals through Life Sciences Ontario and the Ontario Biosciences Innovation Organization.
