To be eligible for the award, a nominee must be:

• Must be 39 years or younger as of Jan 1st, 2025
• Must be a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident as of June 30th, 2025
• Must have been in, at least, a director level position as of June 30th, 2025.
• One spot in the Top 20 under 40 will be available, per the Jury’s discretion, for non-Canadian citizens working in a leadership position in Canada. The individual must have completed at least 1 year of a minimum 2-year consecutive work term in Canada.
• The Life Sciences encompass:
  • Pharmaceutical companies,
  • Medical Device Manufacturers and Distributors, 
  • Contract Research Organizations, 
  • Medical Technology and HealthTech organizations,
  • Biotechnology companies,
  • Patient Support organizations,
  • Specialty or Retail Pharmacy,
  • Healthcare Services companies
  • Healthcare Institutions
